Service Description

The Gilbert Theater seeks produce creative, innovative plays and events to stir audiences and students of its conservatory to explore and contemplate the human condition through the talents of local and guest artists. We serve the community by producing both classic and contemporary cutting edge productions; fostering enduring development of its local artists through education, training, professional collaboration, and engagement with the music, literature, and meaningful production of expressive theater; and encouraging the practice of theater throughout the community by offering audiences, staff, volunteers, actors, teachers, and artists opportunities to celebrate art in performance. Assembly Performance: The Sound of Music Student Matinee This is a performance of the musical, The Sound of Music. The students will come to our theater for this production. The performance will run approximately 2 hours with 15 minute intermission.
