The Atlantic Coast Theatre (A.C.T.) For Youth is an Orlando, FL based Professional Touring Theatre For Young Audiences & Families. A.C.T. For Youth produces imaginative live theatrical productions which tour to Performing Arts Centers, Theatres, Schools, Libraries, Festivals, & Museums. Additionally, a wide selection of Hands-On Theatre Workshops and Residency Programs are available. Since 1999, A.C.T. For Youth has given over 2000 Performances for more than 650,000 audience members in 18 U.S. States. Assembly Performance: 2022-2023 Touring Productions (K-8) THE TIME MACHINE: H.G. Wells Science Fiction novel as a S.T.E.A.M. Powered Rock Musical. THE ELVES & THE SHOEMAKER: Classical holiday melodies blend with new lyrics & audience participation. -CHARLES DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL: 2 actors use their imaginations & items from the drawing room to perform 15 characters from the classic story. - SHERLOCK HOLMES & THE OPERA MYSTERY: The world’s most famous detective investigates a diamond theft at The Royal Opera. -RUMPELSTILTSKIN: Elaborate masks & comic characters of Commedia Del’Arte along with audience participation bring the story to life. Grade Levels K-8 Maximums 350 Students, 45-50 minutes, 3/day Technical Requirements A.C.T. For Youth Shows are flexible and can be performed in most any indoor space. We bring all necessary set, costumes, props, and sound equipment. To use the complete set, a space of 24 feet wide, by 9 feet tall, by 12 feet deep is needed, however the set can be reduced for smaller spaces.
