Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1956, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra is a professional, regional orchestra whose mission is to educate, entertain, and inspire the citizens of the Fayetteville, North Carolina region as the leading musical resource. Praised for its artistic excellence, the Symphony leads in the cultural and educational landscape for Fayetteville and our southeastern North Carolina region.

In-School Workshop: Forte Fridays
Musicians from the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra (FSO) are available for sectionals, lessons, masterclasses, or other forms of special instruction on the following Fridays:
- September 20, 2024
- November 22, 2024
- January 24, 2025
- February 21, 2025
- April 25, 2025
Schools that book an instructor for the Forte Fridays program will also receive a special invitation to a FSO dress rehearsal so students can see the musicians in action and experience a professional orchestra rehearsal.

In-School Workshop: Composition Workshop and Talks
The Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra is bringing two composers to work with students from February 17-21, 2024. The composers are available for composition workshops and/or talks about what it means to be a composer, how someone could become a composer, and what inspires their composition work.
