Dr. Nikki Fynn is a seasoned educator and public health expert with over 24 years of experience working with children and adolescents with diverse needs and academic challenges. Holding a Doctorate in Education and a Master's in Public Health, Dr. Fynn has dedicated her career to fostering emotional and academic growth in young people through innovative and restorative approaches.

Peace and Pen is a restorative arts based initiative that offers a safe communication platform for students to express emotions and talk about solutions to problems. We may use drawing, word art, writing, or other modalities in the process. Peace and Pen is a trauma informed approach and addresses education as well as mental health simultaneously. Nikki is not a licensed mental health therapist. She offers life skill, nonclinical and student centered learning. A residency day is 6 hours in length. A 3 day residency is $2750; 4 day residency =3675; 5 day residency =$4600

Peace and Pen: Promoting Wellness Through Art
Peace and Pen is a restorative and relational life skills initiative using visual journaling & therapeutic writing to build emotional literacy & self awareness among students 3rd-9th grade. It is student centered. Topics that may be discussed include but not limited to conflict, tolerance, anger, grief, change, stress, & sound choice making. This program can be modified to serve one classroom over the residency period and/or replace in-school suspension to nip student behavior in the bud and get to root cause issues.
