https://casinochf.com caught my attention recently while reading about how different cultures interpret symbols of protection, which made the Mlezi piece standing for guardian feel especially fitting among the winners. Lydia's mixed media approach in Watchers 3 sounds like it carries that same layered sense of watching over something, and it's interesting how several of the selected works circle back to family and care. I'm hoping to make it to the gallery before the 28th since free parking on Maxwell Street makes it an easy stop.
