Fayetteville, NC - The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County is proud to announce that Renee Grayson has successfully completed the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits’ Nonprofit Management Institute (NPMI), a statewide leadership development program designed to strengthen nonprofit management and organizational effectiveness.

NPMI equips nonprofit professionals with practical skills in governance, financial management, strategic leadership, communications, fundraising, and organizational operations. The program connects emerging and established nonprofit leaders from across North Carolina through intensive coursework and peer learning opportunities.

With Renee’s completion of the program, the Arts Council now celebrates 100% staff participation in the Nonprofit Management Institute — underscoring the organization’s commitment to professional development, sector leadership, and operational excellence.

“As the Arts Council continues to grow its impact across Cumberland County, investing in staff development remains a core priority,” said Kennon Jackson, incoming President and CEO of the Arts Council. “Renee’s accomplishment reflects both her personal commitment to leadership and the Arts Council’s broader dedication to building a strong, sustainable nonprofit sector.”

The Arts Council has maintained a longstanding partnership with the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits and continues to prioritize professional development opportunities that strengthen service to artists, cultural organizations, schools, and the broader community.
