Walk through history

Ever wonder how Fayetteville got its name? Discover the answer on the American Independence Trail, one of 11 driving trails organized by the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. The planned stops take you on a journey through history with statues, cemeteries and historical markers.
