What is your favorite Arts Council event?
That's a hard question to answer.  They are all wonderful!  If I had to choose, I would select any event that has live music.

In regards to working with the Arts Council, it would be "Would you like the opportunity to.......?"

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Positive, detailed, friendly

Where are you from?
Eastover, NC

What has been one of your most rewarding moments while on the clock with the Arts Council?
Learning about the various events and programs supported by the Arts Council. Witnessing the impact these programs have on our community and the lives of its citizens has been amazing to watch.

Favorite Artists? Can be music!
I
enjoy and appreciate all their talents. When it comes to music, Rivermist is my favorite area band!


Who inspires you? And why?
I enjoy people and everyone has a story. I find inspiration in hearing their stories whether it is told through words or other forms of art and entertainment.

What are you passionate about?
Fayetteville - It's my hometown and I'm proud of it. We have our problems, but we have so much potential as a community and the local talent to make the potential a reality.

What is your favorite quote?
My mother always said to me: "Treat others the way you want to be treated. It doesn't matter how much or how little someone has, everyone should be treated with dignity and respect."

What topic could you give a 20-minute presentation on without any preparation?
Taking The First Step Afraid

Which historical figure would you most like to meet?
They weren't historical, but I would like to talk with my great grandparents.

What’s your favorite film?
Steel Magnolias..."Smile! It increases your face value." Truvy's line in the movie.

Where are five places you really want to visit before you die?
Ireland, Scotland, Bora Bora, Key West, Mediterranean Region

What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I'm not sure this is a secret talent, but I've been told often that I am really good at finding the bright spot and middle ground in situations.

What’s your favorite international food?
Baklava

If you could pack up and move anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Anyplace that has a great beach!

Which living person do you most admire?
My admiration is for a group of people...It would be first responders and healthcare workers. They put themselves at risk everyday for each of us.

What is your most treasured possession?
The Autry (Sampson County) family Bible

If you could switch careers with someone for one day what would you choose and why?​
A nurse. They have such an opportunity to help people and help make a difficult situation a little easier.

What's your go-to snack or comfort food?
Chocolate...And lots of it!

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?
Swimming with the dolphins in Hawaii
