About the Artist

We believe in the power of storytelling and the visceral impact of live theatre. We strive for the highest standards of excellence in our artistic work, educational offerings, and outreach efforts. Both our STUDENT MATINEE SERIES and ARTISTS ON THE GO! programs are designed to increase access to live theatre for teachers and students. This year, CFRT is happy to introduce Virtual EduTainment, online arts education to assist with distance learning.

If the CCS school system is not able to have peer to peer learning and students are in a virtual learning environment.  Our one hour a day online EduTainment classes will help your students love online learning, by using Music, Interactive Story, PE, Theatre and Arts these classes will help your students adapt to an online learning environment and excel!  The week can be adapted to support the curriculum being taught in other classes. Give your students a week of “specials” and allow teachers to catch up on their obligations as we all adapt to new paradigms.

CFRTeen Tour of Flat Stanley the Musical! (Grades K-5)

Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill, ten-year-old: normal mom and dad, normal little brother, normal life. That's just the problem... for Stanley, life is too normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one's ever seen before. Careful what you wish for, Stanley! One night, the bulletin board on the wall above Stanley's bed comes loose and falls – right on top of Stanley! The next morning, Stanley Lambchop wakes up flat. Not just a little flat... really, REALLY flat! In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley – the ultimate exchange student – scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond. And, whether he's thwarting a robbery at the Louvre Museum in Paris, or "hanging ten" off the coast of Hawaii, Stanley is closing in on his goal of being a three-dimensional boy once more.

Based on the beloved book series, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley is filled with infectious songs and non-stop adventure, making this a perfect show to introduce young audiences to the magic of live theatre.
