True to Yourself: A Black History Month Film Talk

True To Yourself, a Black History Month Film Talk presented by The Arts Council and Piedmont Natural Gas

What is the definitive moment when you commit to remaining true to yourself while attaining a goal that seems out of reach? When you reach rock bottom and are tempted to give up, what stops you?

Join keynote speakers famed casting director Winsome Sinclair, C.S.A. (worked with Steven Spielberg, John Singleton, Oliver Stone etc.), and award- winning actress Tichina Arnold (of VH1's Daytime Divas and STARZ Survivor's Remorse) guide the audience through their careers, lives, challenges and so much more.

Moderated by Dr. Eric Mansfield, this event will take the audience on a journey of how these determined women built solid careers in the volatile and often limiting film industry.

Be sure to purchase your tickets today for this one-of-a-kind experience. The audience will be able to engage with Tichina and Winsome in a Q&A session during the event.
