The Arts Council presents "True to Yourself"

The road to success can be filled with tough detours. Many never reach their goals. Two dynamic women share their stories...


This experience will provide the community with an informed perspective on the topics of remaining True to Yourself while facing adversity and obtaining longevity as an African American woman in the film industry. With an expectancy of more than 1,100 people, this noteworthy event, aims to reflect diversity in the arts and culture community through the power of storytelling and the sharing of knowledge and wisdom. 


Winsome Sinclair, C.S.A. and Tichina Arnold will guide the audience through a chronological timeline progression of their careers as an actress and as an casting director; highlighting career achievements and obstacles. The storytelling will be supported with video outtakes and personal insight from Tichina and Winsome. The event will transition into an engaging Q&A with the audience.


J.W. Seabrook Auditorium, located on the campus of Fayetteville State University, a Historically Black College in Fayetteville, NC. 



$20 General Admission; $10 Student (sales tax included)
