Fayetteville/Cumberland County is rich in arts and culture. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people enjoy performances, concerts, exhibitions and programs at some of the finest attractions in the state.

82D Airborne Division Way Memorial Museum


The museum is dedicated to telling the history of the 82d Airborne Division from 1917 to the present.

Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation


Opening the doors on August 16th, 2000, the 60th anniversary of the original United States Army’s Test Platoon’s first parachute jump, the museum offers free admission, a main exhibit gallery, temporary gallery, four-story tall theater, video theater and a motion simulator ride.


Cameo Art House Theatre


The Cameo is Fayetteville's Alternative Cinematic Experience, screening art, independent, foreign and classic films.

Cape Fear Ballroom Dancers


The only dance club in Fayetteville, NC, devoted exclusively to ballroom dancing invites you to join in the fun.  This club hosts one dance party every month, and four of these each year are formal, dinner-dances.


Cape Fear Basketmakers Association


The group meets monthly with the purpose of practicing, preserving and promoting the artistry of basketry.
