And this year, a new community gateways program is developing. .
- Arts Education/Youth Development: Using the arts to teach and inspire youth. The arts transcend boundaries.Studies show that the arts can make all academic subjects accessible and engaging. They can keep kids in school; and they can open a window of constructive, creative inspiration for kids who need it most. Includes support of matching grants across Cumberland County and Fort Bragg area schools; and grants/services that reach kids throughout our community.
- Creative Arts in the Military: This program places creative arts at the core of serving those who serve. The arts are a powerful tool for healing and engagement.
