Featured keynote speakers include Debra Dixon, the author of the acclaimed writing guideGoal, Motivation, Conflict. Dixon shows writers how to use goal, motivation and conflict to avoid sagging middles and to sharpen storytelling. Also featured is Celia Rivenbark, a Duplin County, NC native. Her lecture session Finding the Comedy in the Chaos, introduces writers to subjective humor. Learn to find the humor in everyday life and incorporate it in writing, while avoiding common pitfalls.
