Meet Bob Pinson

Have you enjoyed the International Folk Festival, A Dickens Holiday or an Arts Council Fourth Friday event over the past few years? These events ran smoothly in part because of our resident man-with-a-plan, Operations Director, Bob Pinson. From major events to installing public art or the upkeep of our 100+ year old building, Bob can be seen serving our community with a smile. Most common question asked at work: When will vendor applications be posted?

Favorite aspects of the job: Working with people and realizing that together we can and do change our little corner of the world into a better place to live, raise a family and play.

Where are you from? Due to my military background, the world has been my home, but after almost 29 years in Fayetteville, I call Fayetteville home.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane and going to Ranger school in the winter.

Favorite Artists: Musicians from the 1960s.

Most rewarding moments: Working with all the country cultural groups as together we create the International Folk Festival.

What are you passionate about? Helping to make people's lives better and to help people reach their potential.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane and going to Ranger school in the winter.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Infantry Blue

Who inspires you? And why? My wife Suzanne. She challenges me to think outside the box and is always there to support me.
