Educator Opportunities

Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum

The arts have the power to teach, inspire, fuel imagination, and even change lives at any age.  Whether you teach publicly, with a small group, or with your own children here are some resources to enhance your curriculum and educational objectives.

Gallery Visits

Schools and other groups are welcome to visit the Arts Council’s galleries throughout the year.  View our Exhibition Schedule or to schedule your visit and learn more about group tour opportunities in Fayetteville/Cumberland County, visit our Group Tour page.

Artists in Schools

Whether the subject is science, history or math, teaching artists can enhance your curriculum.  Artists in Schools is a matching grant program for artist residencies, assembly performances or workshops. Artists available for this program are listed in the Artists in Schools Directory published yearly by the Arts Council.
