Our Studio Classes provide weekly instruction in the performing arts.

Our Winter 2019 term lasts for six weeks with a Final Presentation for friends and family during class period on the seventh. Military, Multi-Class, and Sibling discounts are available.

Encore Kids College is an after school program hosted by The Capitol Encore Academy (TCEA). The mission of Encore Kids College, through a joint collaboration with local artists and organizations, is to provide access to the arts and creative practices for K-12 children in our community.

Registration for the Fall 2017 Encore Kids College (EKC) after school program is now open. This program is offered to all K-12 students in our community. Students do not have to attend TCEA to participate in EKC Programs.

Green Tea - Sweet Tea Shakespeare

Description

Green Tea brings Shakespeare to young adults in a fresh way, encouraging them to find joy in stories old and new. Through Green Tea, we aim to develop a community of storytellers who work together to discover the wonder of performing Shakespeare.

During monthly Green Tea sessions, company members will learn to work as an ensemble to make authentic theatre. Young adults will be introduced to acting techniques, scene study, improvisation, and study of Shakespeare’s language over the course of a year. The program will culminate in a full performance.

Participants can join at any time throughout the year.

**Though the classes will be split into two age groups (12-14 and 15-17) the performance will include the entire group**
