The Trade Street Art Walk is a fundraising event for the ongoing Trade Street Mural Project. Local artists are painting murals on the back of the businesses on Trade Street to beautify the area and engage the community. At the Art Walk, local artists of all art forms are showing their work as well. There will be live music and refreshments sold at the event.

"Paradox of Tales 2: The Royal Wedding" The long awaited sequel of Paradox of Tales which told the story of our five well-loved fairy tales that took matters into their own hands. Now a royal wedding is coming with our old characters and with new characters joining the adventure. The fight between good and evil is a never ending battle, even with royal nuptials pending. When evil fights evil and good fights good, who do we turn to? Now that the fairies have found the true origins of one of their most beloved fairies a game of cloak and dagger ensues. With new and broken alliances, the time has come to choose sides and prepare for Paradox of Tales 2: The Royal Wedding.

The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of "Grease."  See what happens during this comedy.  It's habit forming!

Sweet Tea Shakespeare presents Shakespeare's iconic play, Julius Caesar, in its first autumn production at the 1897 Poe House on the Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex Grounds in Fayetteville, NC.  Performances will take place outdoors. Audiences should bring their own seating and bug spray. In case of inclement weather, the performance will move indoors to St. Michael's Maronite Catholic Church adjacent to the Poe House grounds.

Eleven year-old Pecola Breedlove wants nothing more than to be loved by her family and schoolmates. Instead, she faces constant ridicule and abuse. Blaming her dark skin she prays for blue eyes, sure that love will follow.
