About the Artist

Zak has performed more than 2,500 concerts for children. His first CD, Bloom, was met with awards and “Best of” listings. His CD When Bullfrogs Croak, was nominated for a GRAMMY. Zak released a DVD, Zakland, and a CD about the golden rule. In 2012, Morgan signed with myKaZoo Music/ Universal Music Enterprises and released The Barber of the Beasts.

Zak Morgan’s performances are filled with musical stories, laughter and warmth as he encourages children to learn through reading skills, facts included in the songs, imagination and believing in themselves. Students use their voices and body movements to join in the fun. Morgan’s educational concerts offer study guides with activities for music education and arts integration. Concerts for Pre-K to 2nd focus on confidence building, reading and listening and imagination. Concerts for 3rd - 5th teach life science facts through music, literary devices and elements of a story. All concerts teach basic music lessons including simple rhythmic, melodic and chordal patterns.
