Rick Brown

About the Artist

Rick Brown was a science teacher for 15 years before working at a science center where he developed and performed science programs for schools as field trips or outreach to the schools. Since moving to the triangle in 2010, he has brought these programs to the area. Since 2014, he has done some of the programs as historical scientists in the United Arts Council's Artists in the Schools program.

Sir Isaac Newton makes a guest appearance to talk to students about his life, and how he changed the world of science. He brings his Laws fo Motion and Theory of Gravity to life using students to help him demonstrate his laws of motion in fun and exciting ways. He marvels at all the ways the Laws of Motion have been used by mankind, especially space travel during the last 60 years.
