Hands-on Multiple Intelligences: Got Intelligence? Try on a variety of ways to be smart. We’ll start with a Bodily-Kinesthetic assessment to figure out how comfortable we are with Howard Gardner's theory, then build our brains from materials at hand and explore the Intelligences within us with a Multiple Intelligences Treasure Hunt.

Adventures in Arts Integration: How to Solve any Teaching Problem through the Arts: In this workshop, we’ll look for standards your students just don’t understand, no matter how you try to teach them, and find ways you can use every art form—creative writing, dance, music, drama and visual art—to make them exciting and accessible.

Coming to America: Arrive at Ellis Island in 1901, with only a trunk and your “family.” As we immigrate, we integrate, weaving poetry and drama with Social Studies to explore the process of becoming an American.

Word Bowl Poetry: This workshop teaches the highly flexible and fun Word Bowl approach to poetry to deepen your students’ understanding of vocabulary and ideas across the curriculum.

Coaching and Model Lessons are also available for all workshops and residencies.
