Garry Krinsky

Artist and Agent for School Bookings

About the Artist

Garry Krinsky has been touring Toying with Science across the U.S. at schools and theatres since 1996. He has been performing the show routinely at schools in North Carolina since the year 2000, mainly working through the United Arts, Moore County, and Fayetteville / Cumberland Arts Councils.

Toying with Science is a fast-paced varied and dynamic program. Commissioned and developed with the Museum of Science in Boston, this performance explores among other things: the scientific principles of gravity, leverage, fulcrums and simple machines. Combining circus skills, mime, original music and audience involvement, Garry and his audience investigate basic scientific information and delve into the imaginations of scientists who explore our world. Garry performs original up-beat songs, that explore fulcrums, levers, basic mechanics and six different types of simple machines. He balances multiple ladders on his chin, simultaneously, as he demonstrates how to find the center of gravity, high-lighting the steps required to accomplish these feats.
