About the Artist

Allan Wolf is an author, poet, performer, musician and educator. With literally hundreds of original and classic poems committed to memory, Wolf is able to tailor his concerts to diverse audiences. Wolf offers writing and performance workshops as well as performances. His children and young adult book awards include two School Library Journal Best Books, and ALA Best Book for Young Adults and an IRA Children’s Book Award Notable.

With hundreds of poems committed to memory, he adapts this presentation’s content based on each audience and occasion. Wolf is aware that most audiences contain future (or practicing) poets, so he makes a point of speaking about the joys of writing and living the poet’s life.
