Fayetteville has a rich and long history of celebrating its multicultural population. Years ago, a group of forward thinking citizens got together to create the International Folk Festival as a celebration of our diversity. Now in its 30th year, the International Folk Festival has become a three day celebration and has been recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Festival for three consecutive years.

Make Your Dog A Star – And Yourself a Little Richer!
Put a BERET on your POODLE, a KILT on your SCOTTIE, or a TROUSER on your SCHNAUZER and you’re in the running for cash prizes.
That’s right! It’s time for the International Dog Show that allows Fido to be a part of the International Folk Festival on his own terms. Dress your pup in a costume representing his country of origin. Be elaborate or tuck that nation’s flag in your collie’s collar and you’re good to go.
